Vampires!

It's no secret that I objected to the new flats being built at the corner of Highlands and FPR, primarily due to concerns about parking – for which I was proven right about that. However, I must admit, they’ve done a good job with the construction, and they certainly look much better than the unsightly council blocks across the road.

Yesterday, a neighbour walking by the new flats pointed out something between two front doors which has left me feeling a little uneasy. 

Obviously, the building work stirred up a lot of rats; 🐀I can deal with those (Randolph paid a visit over the weekend, though he might stay away for a while after a friend’s dog scared him off on Monday!). I can just about tolerate the large black hairy spiders we’re all being visited by right now. 🕷️ 

Sometimes I have visitors in the shop who appear to be not quite from this world - or are they? Personally, I don’t believe in such things, but others have seen what I have and do believe. 👻 

The foxes 🦊 on the other hand, are a joy and always welcome. 

But I absolutely, categorically, and completely draw the line at 𝐕𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐒! 🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️ If they’re scaring them off, we all know where they’ll be headed next… my way! Poor Vlad is too old to take them on these days! 🤣
