'Fame' at last!

Sometimes one conversation really does lead to another…

A recent chat with someone turned into a connection with another person, which led to a few questions about our new partnership with The Eight Foundation and other charities we have contributed to.. Fast forward, and suddenly our shop and story are featured on the front page of The Evening News business section! 

It’s the first time in 20 years the shop has had a mention in the paper, so yes — I’m pretty chuffed. I’ve been in the news a couple of times before (including one memorable photo dressed as an elf on our local beat-bobby’s lap — which, let’s be honest, probably wouldn’t happen today!).

The only hiccup? They listed me as “the contributor,” which makes it look like I wrote about myself in the third person. But hey — if it helps shine a light on our charity work and raises much-needed funds, I’ll happily take it.
