Exhausted

My goodness; you love people have certainly made me work for my living these past few days... I know I say this every year, but this year I really am shocked at how many of you chose us to make up your Mother's Day flowers; I ordered the same amount of flowers I had in last year, plus an extra 10%. By Monday of last week I had to add to the order and by Thursday I was having to turn people away, partly because I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get any more flowers, but also because as just one person I wasn't sure I was going to find time to make them all. With all that is going on in the world, and with so many of you/us struggling to pay your/our bills I actually thought I would have a load of flowers left over; you (my wonderful customers) never cease to amaze me. 

 

To those of you I had to turn away because you'd left it too late, I am sorry. Next year I will order more, and maybe you could meet me half way and try ordering earlier! :) Apologies also that your orders may be as large as they have been in previous years; the wholesale price of many flowers at the moment are astronomical, and whilst I have absorbed as much of the additonal costs as possible (to the point I most likely won't get paid this month) I do still have to try and make something to cover the bills I have piling up. 

 

We are about to enter our 17th year of trading in Fareham and the support I have received from everyone has been incredible. Thank you, each and every one of you. Here's to Mothers Day 2024 :)
