The Queen

After the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, I've been genuinely amazed by how many local people have been into the shop buying flowers to take to London, for them to leave at Buckingham Palace. I remember when Diana, Princess of Wales died, many people took flowers to local buildings in memorium and was prepared for customers to do the same in Fareham - although I guess we don't really have anywhere they could be left; what I wasn't prepared for was the amount of local people wishing to travel to London. At last count I've made up 37 bouquets for customers who are London bound; that's a lot for a small shop on the outskirts of town.

These are just 5 of those 37...

You will notice changes to the website as well right now; to honour the memory of Queen Elizabeth II we have changed the bright pink colouring to black until after the funeral service has taken place.
